SexY SuspensioN is a small rectangular arena that has been partially
divided into two tight rooms. Two platforms hover high above the action at each end,
and several more float slightly overhead in one of the rooms. At the other end of
the map, the fearsome BFG greets window shoppers behind plate glass that appropriately
reads 'Kill Me'. On the suspended platform above is the Railgun which is attained
via teleport. The only other weapons you'll find are the Grenade Launcher - which is
parked in front of the BFG window - and the Grenades scattered about the floor in both
rooms. Sound crazy enough for you yet? Wait, it gets better!
Rayonix enjoyed the offensive traps in CTR Lot so
much that one of them made its way here. Attentive players will notice a small
button under the two corner steps which detonate planted explosives on all of the arial
platforms. This means that camping near the Rail or it's ammo - housed on the
opposite wall - is not a very sane option, and grabbing the Energy Cells for the BFG is
comparably dangerous . The explosive nature of the suspended flats combined with
exceptionally powerful weapons in a dangerously confined space equals total mayhem.
Horns on either side of the glass have been mounted in honor of our
beloved Moo Clan. The walls are
decked out with contained streams of red and blue energy(?) which add to the beautiful
lighting that Rayonix has lovingly applied to the map, but you'll have to enjoy the
ambience in solitude because once other players enter the map there will be no place to
hide. SuspensioN is great for 1 on 1 play and supports up to 4 players for a crazy
deathmatch where life-spans are exceptionally short. Those with a low sanity rating
are cordially invited to test the map with five or more inmates. 
On the off-hand chance that the map doesn't provide enough insanity in
vanilla Q2, may we suggest plugging the map into the ChaosDM mod. In
addition to the four weapons already listed, Chaos adds Flash and Poison Grenades (both of
which can also be launched), Laser Mines, the Buzzblade Launcher, Machine Gun and
Rocket Launching Self Defense Turrets, and the spectacularly devastating Gravity Vortex.
